The individual has the opportunity to hear past emotional experiences of loved ones and the boundaries that will be set. Then the individual is required to make a conscious choice to either continue drinking and using, or to enter treatment and begin a life in recovery. We are an essential point of trust and communication for the family while being an adjunct of the clinical team.
We are able to act as a liaison for all parties involved. We provide Client Case Management and Family Support Services from the first telephone call through to an independent recovery lifestyle, these services include, but are not limited to:.
In addition, our team is addiction and treatment savvy, therefore we are able to quickly identify potential problems before they happen, which allows us to be proactive rather than reactive.
We support and provide additional resources during the treatment and aftercare planning process. Because there are more potential emotional and relapse triggers, we provide accountability, direction, and guidance for his or her new lifestyle. Therefore, we provide accountability, direction, and guidance in his or her new lifestyle and direction.
Our recovery services supplement, but do not replace psychotherapy. We believe that the combination of services we provide our clients offer the best chance of achieving long-term sobriety and recovery. There are periods of time during the recovery process where the individual is most vulnerable for relapse. The time immediately after discharge from a recovery program whether residential or intensive outpatient is often the most precarious time, even for a motivated client.
This is why it is usually essential to have a professional coach to ensure the maximum likelihood for successful long-term recovery.
A professional recovery coach provides one-on-one and face-to-face mentorship support for the newly recovering individual. The role of a Brass Tacks Recovery coach is to guide and mentor the vulnerable individual in his or her new world of recovery. Because transition can trigger relapse, a recovery coach helps the client adjust from the intensity and structure of a residential or intensive outpatient program to mainstream life.
The coach also helps the client establish consistent routine and healthy boundaries. This is done by supporting either their immersion into a step program, teaching day-to-day coping skills and how to set and achieve goals, or new ways of relating to others without resorting to chemicals or addictive behaviors. At Brass Tacks Recovery we take very seriously our role in helping families navigate the often challenging structure of the treatment industry.
Our primary goal is to educate and guide families through the entire treatment experience whether there is a crisis and need for intervention or support with healthy life-reintegration. We customize a plan for each client and their family. This is important as many of our families have experienced multiple treatment episodes where key success elements were missed. We have experience.
We are educated. Our method works. We are here for you. Many of our families feel defeated and have lost faith in the mental health industry. We understand that. We do things differently. A boundary is not a wall between you and your child. It is a bridge to a healthier lifestyle. Brass Tacks Recovery is not affiliated with, employed by, or in contract with any treatment centers.
We don't just care. We redefine care. When you don't know who to trust. When you don't know what to ask. Who We Are. What We Do.
