To explain To create PDFs, you simply print your presentation to that specific printer and it saves it as a PDF file instead, using an image of what would have been printed had it been a real printer. I now know i have ADOBE reader only, I also now have cutePDF, unfortunately that didn't fix the problem but after a lot more googling I saw that powerpoint doesn't like letters that join and I was using Bradley Hand ITC to make it look like a childs writing, I have changed the font and problem solved.
